Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms and conditions govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between HeyJames Inc. (hereinafter "Company") and its members regarding the use of the heyjames platform (hereinafter "Service").
Article 2 (Definitions)
The definitions of terms used in these terms are as follows.
- "Service" refers to the online course and community platform related to IT startups, development, vibe coding, AI, and marketing provided by the Company.
- "Member" refers to a person who accesses the Service, enters into a use agreement with the Company under these terms, and uses the services provided.
- "Course" refers to the online educational content provided by the Company or instructors.
- "Community" refers to the bulletin board service for information exchange and communication between members.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Changes)
- These terms are effective for all members who wish to use the Service.
- The Company may change these terms within the scope of not violating applicable laws, and will announce changes 7 days before the effective date.
- If a member does not agree to the changed terms, the member may terminate the use agreement.
Article 4 (Membership Registration)
- Membership registration is completed when a user agrees to these terms, applies for registration, and the Company approves it.
- Applicants must provide real names and actual information. Providing false information may result in service usage restrictions.
- Children under the age of 14 cannot register for membership.
Article 5 (Provision and Changes of Services)
- The Company provides the following services: online course content, community bulletin board, learning progress management, and any other services developed or provided through partnerships.
- The Company may change services for operational or technical reasons when there is substantial cause.
Article 6 (Service Interruption)
- The Company may temporarily suspend service for system maintenance, server upgrades, network instability, and other operational needs.
- The Company will provide advance notice of service interruptions, or post-notice in unavoidable circumstances.
Article 7 (Course Enrollment and Payment)
- Members may purchase and take courses provided by the Company.
- Course payments are made through payment methods designated by the Company.
- Course enrollment periods and usage limits may vary by course and are specified on the course detail page.
- Courses on external platforms (such as Inflearn) are subject to that platform's terms of service.
Article 8 (Withdrawal and Refund)
- Members may request withdrawal within 7 days of purchasing a course.
- Withdrawal may be restricted if course progress exceeds 10% or if course content is lost or damaged due to the member's fault.
- Refund amounts are calculated according to the Company's refund policy, and processing times may vary by payment method.
Article 9 (Member Obligations)
Members must not engage in the following:
- Registering false information or using others' information during registration or changes
- Impersonating Company employees or operators
- Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or transmission of course content
- Posting content that defames or damages others' reputation
- Posting obscene or illegal content
Article 10 (Company Obligations)
- The Company shall not engage in acts prohibited by applicable laws or contrary to public order, and will make best efforts to provide continuous and stable service.
- The Company shall protect members' personal information and publicly announce and comply with the privacy policy.
- The Company shall handle opinions or complaints raised by members regarding service use when deemed legitimate.
Article 11 (Copyright)
- Copyrights and intellectual property rights to services and course content provided by the Company belong to the Company or the respective instructor.
- Members shall not use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes or allow third parties to use it without the Company's prior consent.
Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)
- The Company shall prioritize handling complaints and opinions submitted by members.
- Lawsuits regarding disputes between the Company and members shall be filed with the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
Article 13 (Supplementary Provisions)
These terms are effective from November 01, 2025.
